Excellent food.Great freindly service..

Just about every time I go to Dinosaur National Monument I end up eating here - either on my trip out or my trip back - usually both. It's a family style restaurant. I like a bit of atmosphere - not a fast food joint. A few other restaurants in Vernal - are well - "Never Mind". But this restaurant has good food at decent prices - and a western atmosphere. I've lived back and forth between the east coast and Utah several times - and it was just as good the last time as previous visits years earlier. So it has stood the test of time well. I do recommend it.

Blackened prime rib was the absolute best I've ever had in my life! Soooo full of flavor and cooked exactly how I wanted it. The sides were amazing too, the vegetable soup was chunky and delicious! Fast friendly service too, it's going to be our new date night go to.

Nice home style restaurant with great comfort foods.

Food was great but service was poor. Waitress was not attentive and felt like being there messed up her day. Had to hunt her down to get refills and to get the check. Was one of two tables the waitress was attending to. Would recommend for food quality but not service overall customers beware may get the same waitress. She may of had an off day so gave 3 stars instead of 2.

The oinky onion was really good. So full.

Not sure why they put PRIME RIB on their neon sign and then you walk in only to be told that it is only available on Fridays. I got a Rib Eye and it was a horrible cut of meat. It was full of grissle and the meat was tough. The service was very good which is why it got 3 stars instead of 1. If you want a great meal go next door to the Mexican place it was awesome.

Fun little local eatery. Jump in and munch some American eats at this little establishment when you're done searching for Dino's, hiking, or scoping out aliens.

This place gets BUSY, so make sure you come early, or prepare to wait. Awesome food, friendly staff, great atmosphere, and a cool gift shop next door.

Great food.this is a wonderful hometown restaurant with a cowboy flare. Tasty food, good service and excellent scones. Make sure to get the scone. There is a great gift shop as well connected to the restaurant with treats, shirts and all sorts of other souvenirs to buy. Definitely stop in!

Fantastic service. Very attentive waitresses. Food was just not that great, even for diner standards. Very generic, a bit dry.

The 7-11 pork burger was amazing. Made with their own house made sausage. I like to try this style of food knowing I can't get it anywhere else.The jalapeño poppers appetizer was ok; Good but nothing special.

This restaurant clearly does not understand how to operate in the COVID era. We were the only people in the restaurant, until another party came in and they literally sat them RIGHT behind us when the whole restaurant was empty. Seriously? They said they didn't want to "clean" a table they had already cleaned. The place looked pretty dirty anyway so I'm not sure what the difference was. My burger was burnt but tolerable. If you are at all concerned about socially distancing don't come here. Additionally - when we arrived the cashier at the gift shop looked at us and then at the hostess and told her 'have fun' while she was seating us. Not sure what that was supposed to mean, sorry you are open at 9pm at night, but don't take it out on your customers.

The breakfast was good. The kids loved their hamburger, the fries were just right, and the hamburger my husband got was just the right portion. We'll be back again. Great customer service from our waitress. They have us water and let us know our waitress would be with us soon, came back several times to make sure everything was ok. Thank you for the hospitality.

We loved the idea of a local restaurant diner so we gave it a try. The server was wonderful and gift shop darling, however, the food was horrible. My husband ordered a burger with bacon and said it had a different smell and taste with a flat bun. The bacon was not crisp but greasy flat without a good flavor. He could not finish it. I ordered chicken strip dinner and the chicken strips were large with heavy breading clearly a frozen food product. I ordered a baked potato and when I opened up the little butter tubs, the color was off and it was not even butter, but spread. Their ketchup was not Heinz but a bland generic.. same for mustard. We will never go back. It is a horrible waste of money for the food. Poorest quality of food.

We had the BlackBerry shakes and nachos. The shakes were made with real icecream! The nachos were good... could have had more cheese and meat topping. Very clean. Service was a little slow...

Great clam chowder on fridays

Crazy good food, for crazy low prices. $15 bucks for a giant bowl of cheeseburger soup, and an amazing open face roast beef, drowning in heavenly gravy? That would hardly cover an appetizer back home! Also, we came in late, 30 minutes to closing time, and both the hostess and waitress were as sweet at Georgia tea, all smiles and menu recommendations. Good food, kind people, stupid low prices. Stop scrolling, go eat here, you won't be displeased.

With a little more effort in the kitchen the food could be better. My burger was terribly dry, but I lied and said it was good to the server. The restaurant was clean and the service was great.

Service was excellent. Food was a little slow coming out, but not a big deal. Server was really friendly. Food was good. Prices were really good. Side pork was an excellent choice. Biscuits weren't great, but the gravy was good. Hashbrowns were nice and crispy. Eggs were cooked almost perfect. Bacon was good. Worth a stop

You won't leave this place hungry. Ample servings at great prices. And the food tastes good! Friendly staff.

Absolutely amazing food and staff

Had the single cut prime rib. It's was cooked rare as I requested. The soup, salad and, and baked sweet potato were all good. The scones are indian fry bread, and were delicious. Waitress was friendly and polite.

Wow!!! I will tell everyone that comes to Vernal to eat here. Huge portions. Great price. Fast service. Friendly servers. Hometown cooking. 7-11 Ranch Restaurant just got a regular customer. (When I'm in town).

Amazing! Way too much food for low price.

Found this place via google on the drive in. What a horrible experience. When we were seated, around 1:30 pm, there were two other tables in the entire establishment seated. We still had to wait for a table to be cleaned. We finally sat at our table and were handed menus. Some 20+ minutes later we still had no waters, had no drink order taken, and had been ignored by every employee we tried to make eye contact with. They apparently had some subject of importance to huddle up and discuss rather than worrying about the customers. The other patrons were having no better luck getting their checks or drinks refilled. We finally got up and left. No one even noticed

I like to come here. I always get seated fast and the waitresses are always nice. My daughter decided that she would like to try skim milk. I tried to tell her that she wasn't going to like it and I was right but the waitress gladly took it away and gave her a new drink. I also love the gift shop. My children like looking around at all the merchandise as well.

This is a great restaurant, the prices are really good considering other restaurants in town and they give good portion sizes that are sure to fill you up. Our waitress was great despite the place getting busy. Probably one of my favorites as of now.

The Double cut Prime rib and everything that went with it was AWESOME! Tender, flavorful, and excellent value @24.99 for prime rib, Choice of potatoes, salad, vegetable homemade soup, scone, and honey butter! Best meal I have had since leaving home. You can tell by the size of my husband's hand just how large it was!

Good mom and pop atmosphere

I really didnt like this place before but that changed tonight. I took my husband here for the first time and we left stuffed and it barely touched our wallets. 33 bucks for ribs and chicken plus several sides, it was great.
